A study with the participation of Misturas received an award at Innovacarretera fair
A study with the participation of Misturas received the Award to the best R&D&I Project exhibited at the 2019 Innovacarretera fair. Specifically, the “Study comparing two design methods for in situ cold-recycled asphaltic mixtures with bitumen emulsion at lab”, by Pablo Orosa, Ana María Rodríguez and Ignacio Pérez, researchers of the College of Engineers of Roads, Canals and Ports of Universidade da Coruña and frequent collaborators of the company.
Misturas attended this fair and presented different results related to several R&D projects that it is currently developing. The celebration of Innovacarretera, promoted by PTC (Spanish Road Technological Platform) and aimed at the demonstration of innovative products and services applied to road infrastructures was one of the main new features of the XXX Semana de la Carretera (Week of the Road).
This event, celebrated at the end of October in Santiago de Compostela, is one of the most prestigious congresses in Spain on road infrastructures, promoted by the Galician Regional Government and organized by the Spanish Road Association (AEC), in collaboration with ATC (Road Technical Association) and Asefma (Spanish Association of Asphalt Mixture Manufacturers).
The event’s six main challenges were: redefining the network management and conservation model, reducing the number of accidents, solving exploitation issues, responding to the pending technological challenge, guaranteeing efficient and sustainable mobility and tuning in with the citizens’ concerns.
