At full capacity under the Aragón Macro Road Plan
The Extraordinary Road Investment Plan for Aragon, launched in mid-2024, represents the largest public-private partnership road program currently underway in Spain under a concession model. Misturas is part of one of the concessionaire consortia responsible for executing the works and maintaining them over a 25-year period on Route 5 (Jacetania and Alto Gállego) and Route 6 (Sobrarbe and Ribagorza).
The contracts aim to address long-standing connectivity and road safety challenges across the regional network. They encompass project design and development, comprehensive refurbishment works, road safety enhancements, pavement strengthening, surface rehabilitation, and long-term maintenance.
Now fully operational, the program was recently highlighted at a conference in Zaragoza on public-private partnerships as an effective model for road network management. The event, organized by the Spanish Road Association (AEC), and sponsored in part by Misturas, brought together more than 250 professionals from across Spain to discuss the current challenges and future outlook of the country’s road infrastructure.
