Accessibility improvements enhance the Recreational Area of the Cachamuíña Reservoir

The recreational and natural surroundings of the Cachamuíña reservoir, in Pereiro de Aguiar (Ourense), have significantly improved in terms of accessibility and comfort thanks to the construction of a new pedestrian footbridge, replacing the former structure, as well as the opening of a new section of trail.

This project, executed by Misturas and promoted by the Diputación de Ourense, will also reduce the maintenance needs of the footbridge located at the tail end of the reservoir. The new structure is supported at four points and features small viewpoints at each end, seamlessly connecting to the surrounding footpath network.

The footbridge is also suitable for bicycle use, although motorized vehicles are not permitted.
