Two more years of garden and grounds maintenance at the University of Vigo’s three campuses
Misturas has been awarded a new two-year contract to continue maintaining the gardens and green spaces across the University of Vigo’s (UVigo) three campuses.
The work covers the campuses in Vigo, Ourense and Pontevedra, including Vigo’s Historic Campus on Torrecedeira Street and the tree-lined grounds of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Pontevedra.
In total, the contract covers approximately 100 hectares (95.3 hectares across the Vigo and Pontevedra campuses, plus a further 6 hectares in the municipality of Ourense). It also includes the maintenance of hard-surfaced areas away from buildings, shared parking facilities, streets and roads, as well as irrigation and drainage infrastructure. The scope of the contract covers landscaped areas, sports fields and outdoor sports facilities, naturalized spaces and forested areas.
Misturas has been providing these services to the University of Vigo since October 2023.
